1 Working from the interior of the window, use a chisel or putty knfe
to pry loose the sash stops (A) from the jamb (B). Remove lower sash (C).
Now pry the parting stops (D) out of the channel they sit in. Remove upper
sash (E).
2 Measure and cut two lengths of the WeatherSealer blind stop to fit flush
with top and bottom along sides of jamb, position against existing blind
stop (F) and nail into place, 2 inches from edges and 1 ft. thereafter.
Cut a top lengh to fit along the width at the top and nail into place.
Reinstall upper sash.
3 Measure and cut two lengths of the WeatherSealer parting stop to fit
flush with top and bottom along sides of jamb, press into the channel
(nail if necessary). Cut and press top length. Reinstall lower sash.
4 Measure and cut two lengths of WeatherSealer sash stop to fit sides
of jamb. With lower sash raised hold and press the new stop against the
sash, partially hammer tne nail at the center, then lower and raise the
sash to test it slides easily. Cut, test and nail remainder.
5 Measure and cut one length of WeatherSealer meeting rail seal the same
length as the bottom of the upper sash rail. Hold seal in place so rubber
gasket lines up with the gap between the meeting rails. Nail 2 inches
from edges and 1 foot thereafter.
